Summary of the investigation:
Nestor’s research at ECHO focuses on the influence of early conditions on adult mortality and the modeling of intragenerational transmission of obesity. He currently works on a model that investigates the effect of assortative mating, differential fertility, genetic heredity, and cultural influences on population-level obesity prevalence. His other work focuses on the mortality of immigrants, and formal demography aspects.
