ECHO Project at “Madrid es Ciencia” from March 23-25 2023 at IFEMA Madrid

ECHO Project was present at Madrid es Ciencia, event organised by Fundación para el Conocimiento Madri+d from the regional administration of the Comunidad de Madrid that took place at IFEMA Madrir form March 23-25 2023.

Madrid es Ciencia is an event for scientific dissemination aimed at school communities and the general public. This event aims to:

  • Promote scientific vocations by eliminating gender barriers
  • Communicate the science and innovation that is carried out in Madrid region
  • Stimulate the interest and curiosity of young people for science
  • Show how research influences the economic development and well-being of society

Madrid es Ciencia is proposed as an integral sample of the capacities in research and innovation of the Comunidad de Madrid for the construction of a sustainable future, showing citizens the answer that Science, Technology and Innovation can give to the challenges of the planet.

This XII edition of the Madrid es Ciencia has as themes:

  • The International Year of Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development
  • The Ramón y Cajal Year of Research
  • Deep Tech – Deep Science

The ECHO project was represented at the exhibition stand where the Demography Department of the IEGD-CSIC had its space to disseminate the actions and projects carried out within it.
