Summary of the investigation:

Ismael’s research projects align with an overarching agenda aimed to understand the causes and consequences of educational inequality, with particular focus on how inequities in educational experiences and attainment influence health outcomes over the life course. For this purpose, he employs a wide range of methodological designs, including demographic and quasi-experimental techniques applied to cross-national and close case studies.
